To survive in a world of rapid technological change you must keep up, there is no slowing down--the world has changed from going to school to learn a craft, to going just to know how to get out into the worle and keep up with the rapidly changing times.

Change in my Writing
If I could change one thing about my writing it would be how I always use the same words when I write--I need to find a thesaurus or take a vocabulary class to make my vocabulary larger--than my writing would be more intresting, more verbose, and less dull.

YouTube in the classroom
YouTubes effect on student culture is the way we learn--we are no longer fully paying attention to our professor, because we know we can go home and YouTube our economics lecture and some random British guy can expalin everything we missed--it has changed how we view the classroom.

How I learned to write...
When I was younger, my teachers would assign writing assignments and I would do them. My first paper was when I was 10 years old in health class. Everyone had a fictional baby that had a disease. My baby's "disease" was death. Looking back, I guess it was a very odd assignment, but at the time, I just went with it. After that I had a writing assignment in almost all of my classes--English, history, science, even if it was just a science journal, all of my classes have been about writing. Even in college, everything is based on writing. I have to read text that is prepared for me by a professor, analyze it, and understand it. I have to take notes that I can later decrypt and understand. I believe writing is a huge part of learning.
